Road trips, waterfalls and turbo'ed cars

Recently, we took a road trip to Niagara Falls. Our intent wasn’t to drive straight to the falls, but to make the journey the experience. We drove our rental Buick Enclave through the most scenic route along the mountains, farmlands, and rivers of Pennsylvania. We drove through cities small and large with no set destination or time to restrict us. We drove until it was time to sleep and did it all over the next morning. Our journey took us westward towards the Delaware Water Gap and eventually into a small town called Williamsport. From there, we headed north towards Watkins Glen State Park. We explored the beautiful waterways of Watkins Glen and visited a neighboring park to wade in the water of the Tauaghannock Falls.

Of course, a few car related trips were included in our exploration. We headed north and visited a longtime friend, Matt, in upstate New York and spent some time with his nicely set up GT2871r MS3.

Turns out Matt has good taste in food too! He suggested we stop up in Rochester, NY, to eat at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. We’re glad we took his word for it, because it was some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had!

With full stomachs, we decided to stay the night in Rochester. The following morning, we searched for a local coffee shop to fuel up. A quick search on Google revealed a promising small shop called Fuego, so we headed that way. When we pulled up to Fuego, our caffeine cravings were curbed by the sight of a gorgeous red Scion FR-S with an intercooler peeking out of its front bumper.

We managed to park our mini bus and quickly asked the first people we saw sitting outside of the shop if the car belonged to them. We were first disappointed to hear, “No.” but quickly rebounded after we were told the owner was in the shop. Surely enough, we found the owner after walking in and yelling, “Who’s the owner of that gorgeous red FR-S!?”

After talking to Malcolm he allowed us to take some shots of his FR-S, and gave us a rundown of the work he has done. As promised, here is the full modifcation list from Malcolm:
